Police Observer reviews security measures for Assembly Elections in Gulabgarh AC

REASI, SEPTEMBER 23: In preparation for the upcoming assembly elections, Police Observer Pradeep Kumar Yadav conducted an extensive visit to the AC-56 Gulabgarh (ST), where he inspected EVM strong room located at the Gujjar and Bakerwal Hostel in Sajroo, Mahore. The inspection aimed to evaluate the security arrangements in place to ensure a smooth and transparent electoral process.


The Police Observer was joined by senior officers from the Central Armed Police Forces (CAPF) and various nodal officers responsible for overseeing the security and logistical frameworks of the elections. Together, they reviewed the existing security protocols, ensuring compliance with national standards designed to safeguard the electronic voting machines (EVMs) and maintain the integrity of the electoral process.


Police Observer visited Government Higher Secondary School Budhan polling station, Polling Station no 162 at Government High School Jamaslan to review arrangements. He emphasised the importance of coordination among different security agencies and the need for continuous monitoring to prevent any potential disruptions.


Pradeep Yadav also engaged in discussions with the CAPF officers to identify any additional resources or support required to enhance security measures in the lead-up to the elections.
