Police seize 2 vehicles involved in illegal mining in Jammu’s south zone
Jammu Police has intensified its crackdown on illegal mining activities in the district. In a recent operation conducted in the South Zone, the police seized two vehicles found transporting mined materials without proper permits.

The seized vehicles include a tipper and a dumper, which were found carrying sand and crushed bajri (gravel) respectively. Authorities pulled over the vehicles upon discovering that they lacked the necessary permits, such as Form A, which is mandatory for the transportation of mined materials.
This operation was carried out with the support of the District Mining Officer (DMO). The DMO will be taking legal action against the offenders in accordance with relevant laws.
