Police seize vehicle, arrest two drug peddlers with contraband in Baramulla

In a major crackdown on drug trafficking, the Baramulla police have arrested two drug peddlers in Wussan Chowk, Pattan and recovered 2.15 kilograms of poppy straw, a contraband substance, from their possession.

The team raided a specific location in Wussan Chowk and apprehended the two suspects. The vehicle used by the peddlers was also seized.

A case has been registered against the arrested peddlers under the Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances (NDPS) Act. Further investigation is underway.
