Police thwart cattle lifting attempt in Akhnoor, Jammu: 7 cattle rescued, vehicle seized
In a swift operation, Jammu and Kashmir Police (JKP) personnel from Jourian Police Post successfully foiled a cattle lifting attempt in Akhnoor, Jammu.
The police party, led by Chowki Officer Sanjeet Singh, had set up a special checkpoint at Chak Kirpalpur during the intervening night of May 31st and June 1st. Their vigilance paid off when a vehicle bearing registration number JK02DH-7148 tried to avoid the checking.

Officers swiftly pursued the vehicle, but the driver and their accomplices abandoned it and fled the scene. Upon inspection, the police found the vehicle loaded with seven cattle, believed to have been stolen from nearby areas. The police successfully rescued all the cattle and seized the vehicle as evidence.
