Pooja Grover helps poor people to register for PM Vishwakarma Scheme
Jammu 01 Feb: While continuing with her efforts to reach the poor and needy people and help them in availing the benefit of Modi government schemes, Jammu and Kashmir Bharatiya Janata Party Mahila Morcha Spokesperson Pooja Grover, visited Common Service Centre (CSC) at Channi Himmat and guided people for registration for PM Vishwakarma scheme. Males and females in large numbers belonging to poor families had reached the centre to get registration for the scheme.
Pooja Grover, while speaking about PM Vishwakarma Scheme, said that Prime Minister Narendra Modi has launched dozens of welfare schemes for the socio- economic upliftment of the poor sections of the society.
In this series, PM Vishwakarma Scheme has been recently launched in which people associated with different trades like carpenter, blacksmith, armour, barber, and tool kit makers, goldsmith, potter, cobbler, mason man, tailor, garland maker, basket/mat/groom maker, fishing net maker, doll and toy maker etc, are imparted training with stipend rupees 500 per day and toolkit of rupees 15000. The persons registered for the scheme are eligible for loan starting from rupees 50000 to 100000. She expressed hope that more and more people will avail the benefits of this scheme.
