Poonch: DLC discusses Change of Land Use cases

POONCH, JANUARY 09: To discuss and review the process of Change of Land Use in the district, the District Level Committee (DLC) on Thursday met under the chairmanship of Deputy Commissioner Poonch, Vikas Kundal at the meeting hall of DC Office.


As many as fifteen cases were put up for discussion and after thorough deliberation in the light of existing land policy, four cases were approved, 02 cases reverted and two cases were rejected, while the rest were deferred by the Committee.


Each case was assessed on its merits and potential impacts to ensure a balanced approach towards land use changes in the district.


The DC directed concerned members to ensure timely issuance of NOCs to the applicants after proper verification of documents. He emphasized the importance of adhering to the guidelines and policies while considering CLU cases.


The meeting was attended by GM DIC Poonch, DFO Poonch, CEO PDA, CAO, Xen PWD Poonch/ Surankote /Mendhar, Xen I&FC, Xen JPDCL, Officers from GREF, and other concerned officers.
