Poonch: Rahul Gandhi bats for statehood, says INDIA block fractured psychology of PM Modi

SURANKOTE, 23 Sept: Leader of Opposition and senior Congress leader Rahul Gandhi severely reprimanded BJP for playing politics of hatred. Rahul Gandhi said BJP in any part of country aims to gain ground by putting up a fight between brothers.

Gandhi asserted that in J&K, Uttar Pradesh, Bihar, Manipur, they have propelled the agenda of hatred politics. BJP creates fissures among various communities for their vested interests, said Rahul, adding, polarization is cup of tea of BJP.

Besides launching scathing attacks on BJP, Congress stalwart advocated the restoration of Statehood and also vowed will put extensive pressure on the saffron brigade for the restoration of Statehood.  

Addressing a massive rally in Surankote of Poonch district, Rahul Gandhi reaffirmed the commitment of Congress to restore statehood after Assembly Elections.

He said that people are quite acquainted with two ideologies – one which propagates hatred by dividing the people and other that opens “Mohabbat Ki Dukaan” by uniting the masses.

Additionally, Rahul Gandhi said that INDIA block fractured the psychology of PM Narendra Modi. Taking a dig at PM’s 56-inch chest, Rahul said that PM Modi in his first phase of duty as Prime Minister had 56-inch chest but now he has become weak and is a person driven by Congress’s fear. Gone are the days of Narendra Modi, because people have comprehended his bogus claims.

Taking the Government to task Rahul Gandhi also said that it is the first time in the history of India a state has been reduced to Union Territory and that too for the personal gains. Gandhi enumerated the names of states which were earlier Union Territories but now have been escalated to state.

Unemployment is at peak, career of several youths have been jeopardized to fill the piggy banks of few billionaires. 

In current scenario, it is hard for youth to earn livelihood owing to Modi Government acting as a hindrance to their (youths) adequate growth.

Rahul also said that outsiders are reaping the benefits in J&K and the owners of this land are being persecuted. In his keynote address, Gandhi said that Congress wants to Government to run from J&K rather than Delhi.   

Targeting the Government on the always highlighting the so-called failures of the Congress, Rahul said the only thing they pursue in their blueprint is hatred and diving the united ones for self-interests.
