Poshan Abhiyan Awareness Camp organised at  Ghordi- Udhampur

    UDHAMPUR, SEPTEMBER 30: An enlightening awareness program, as part of the Poshan Abhiyan initiative, was today organized at Barmeen in the jurisdiction of the Poshan Project Ghordi.

Subhash Chander Dogra, District Programme Officer Poshan, was the chief guest.

The camp witnessed the participation of a dedicated team from the Health Department and Ayush, along with the active engagement of PRIs (Panchayati Raj Institutions), expectant and nursing mothers, as well as students from local schools.

In his address, the Chief Guest delivered a comprehensive lecture on the Poshan Abhiyaan, shedding light on the vital roles and responsibilities of Anganwadi Workers (AWWs) and Anganwadi Helpers (AWHs) for its effective implementation at the grassroots level.     

Furthermore, the beneficiaries received crucial anemia and health checks, and the health team distributed essential folic acid tablets and multivitamins.
