Poshan Abhiyan: Bandipora Administration organises workshop for workers

BANDIPORA, June 22:  The Bandipora District Administration on Wednesday organised a daylong workshop in collaboration with the Health Department to educate Anganwadi workers about the usage of different types of medicines being procured and distributed to Anganwadi centres for target beneficiaries.

The programme was chaired by Mohammad Ashraf Hakak, District Programme Officer Poshan Projects Bandipora. 

The resource persons from CMO office Bandipora were Dr. Tafasul Paediatric and District Management unit NHM, who gave a detailed presentation on different drugs, specially, administration of IFA syrup and IFA tablets among the different age groups 6 months to 59 months, 5 years to 9 years 10 years to 19 years, usage of ORS for children below the age of 6 years, paracetamol oral suspension among various age groups.

The programme was attended by all the CDPOs, supervisors and Anganwadi workers of Poshan Project Bandipora, Hajin and Sumbal.
