Post 370, J&K witnessed no-stone-pelting, reduced separatism & terrorism, increased tourism: Sat Sharma

Post-abrogation of controversial Article 370, Jammu and Kashmir has witnessed no-stone-pelting, reduced separatism & terrorism, and increased tourism.

These developmental changes under PM Modi are unprecedented and the national investors have gained confidence to rope in the region for new ventures.

The youth is opting for new avenues in entrepreneurship. Far-off areas in the region, whether hilly or border areas have improved transport facilities to increase the socio-economic status and the security of the local dwellers. This was stated by Sat Sharma, the President of J&K BJP.

“The trust of people in BJP leadership is reflected by their enthusiastic participation in the primary membership drive of the party.

Now the active membership of the party is underway. Still, the party is receiving thousands of ‘offline forms’ daily for the primary membership from the remote areas of the region. Every BJP worker deserves applause for this feast”, said Sat Sharma.

Sat Sharma, President, J&K BJP along with Arvind Gupta, MLA Jammu West, Ayodhya Gupta, Secretary, J&K BJP State, and Talab Tillo Mandal President Keshav Chopra, was addressing in a programme organized by Ayodhya Gupta at Ward No. 30, Talab Tillo, Jammu.

During the programme, 16 new active membership forms were submitted to BJP President Sat Sharma in the presence of MLA Arvind Gupta.

Arvind Gupta said that the BJP aims to foster a more vibrant, organized, and responsive political presence that can better address the needs of residents and strengthen its position in the region.

This drive also highlights the BJP’s strategic focus on community interaction and involvement as a key component of its long-term vision for the region’s development

Ayodhya Gupta said that the submission of membership forms during the program represents a concrete effort to increase the party’s influence and visibility in Jammu and Kashmir, momentous occasion underscored the party’s commitment to enhancing its reach and connecting with residents, with a specific focus on broadening its organizational structure at the ground level

Keshav Chopra said that BJP’s strong leadership and its focus on empowering local leaders to drive initiatives that engage communities at the ward level.
