JAMMU, August 25:  The Business School, University of Jammu has always been proactive in innovative practices of teaching learning and industrial connect. As a part of innovative pedagogy, it is mandatory for MBA students of TBS to do internships during their first year. Over the years, The Business School has been able to position itself as a successful brand in terms of best internships, placements, along with the strong entrepreneurial ecosystem.  20 students from the batch 2022-24 were selected earlier through a rigorous process of selection.These students pursued their internships with ICICI bank and completed their projects followed by presentation of the work done by then during two months.

  A process of selection for these students was held on 10th August 2023.  Recruiters from ICICI bank conducted this placement drive for giving Pre Placement Offers (PPOs). Today, a communication from ICICI bank was received for selection of 14 students for placement in ICICI bank at Deputy Manager Grade 2 with approximately 10 Lakh CTC. Every year some of the brightest minds from premier B-schools across the country join ICICI Bank as managers. This year our students namely Aayush Jain, Anjali ,Ansh khanna, Arushi Sharma ,Danish Gupta ,Geetesh Sangra, Harshleen kour, Ishani Khorana , Janvi gupta ,Nikita Sawhney , Nitali kanaria , Sarbjeet Singh  ,Surya Kant Sharma and Aditya Singhal got selected and received placements from ICICI bank. Prof. Chauhan appreciated the efforts of Dr. Rachna Mahajan, Placement Convener of The Business School.

Prof. Vinay Chauhan, Director, The Business School apprised the Hon’ble Vice Chancellor about the beginning of placement season at The Business School with 14 Pre Placement Offers. Hon’ble Vice Chancellor Prof. Umesh Rai congratulated all 14 students during the interaction held in his office chamber. While appreciating the Director, The Business School for taking a number of initiatives for strengthening the professional ecosystem of The Business School, the Vice Chancellor also congratulated Dr. Rachna Mahajan , Placement Coordinator of TBS, for her efforts in this achievement. The Business School acknowledges the contribution of all the faculty members of the Placement Committee .
