Prachar Rath under JJM flagged off by DC Kishtwar

KISHTWAR, March 18: Deputy Commissioner, Dr Devansh Yadav and Executive Engineer Jal Shakti, Sunil Sharma flagged off the Prachar Rath to promote the Jal Jeevan Mission in Kishtwar today. 

ACR Kishtwar Varunjeet Singh Charak, staff members of Jal Shakti including AEs and AEEs, IEC District Coordinator Riaz Ahmed Butt and other staff members of DPMU were present at the occasion.

The Prachar Rath will create awareness about water testing, hygiene and sanitation, Pani Samitis’ roles and water conservation. The Rath will cover all villages in Kishtwar.

The Deputy Commissioner addressed the gathering and informed the media that the Prachar Rath will travel to all 155 villages in the district to spread awareness about JJM schemes launched by the Prime Minister with the slogan “HAR GHAR NAL SE JAL”.

Executive Engineer Sunil Sharma thanked the district administration and ISA GVT Kishtwar for their support in implementing JJM in the district. He also thanked staff members of several departments for making the programme successful.
