Presence of Militants  in BJP’s cadres, a serious issue: Congress.

JAMMU, November.  24- Expressing serious concern over the deteriorated security situation , especially in Rajouri-Poonch, and demanding  immediate strengthening of security network, the  Congress has questioned the  presence of dreaded  militants in ruling BJP cadres  and termed it  a serious issue of security threat.

Addressing a Press Conference at PCC HQ today  JKPCC Working President Shri Raman Bhalla and Senior Vice President Incharge Media Mr. Ravinder Sharma questioned the presence of dreaded terrorists in BJP ranks, as two of them have been arrested just two days ago, as per media reports, alongwith huge weapons, in Kashmir Valley.

 Earlier too, a dreaded terrorist and LET top commander Tallib Hussain  Shah was found holding very important position in ruling BJP and had gained access to various important events and areas including with Home Minister Amit Shah, being in the ruling party.

He was master mind behind the revival of terror activities not only in Pir Panjal  and Reasi. but in different parts and was a top commander. Now again two terrorists  aides have been arrested with huge haul of weapons in Kashmir, who have been in the ranks of ruling BJP. Does BJP’s slogan of “ Sabka Sath, Sabka Vikas, Sabka vishwas  is also includes dreaded terrorists, as being reflected in media.  By being in the anks of ruling BJP, they get undue advantage and access to many places of security sensitive  angleand are  threat to nation’s security, for which the BJP owes an explanation to the nation and it should screen its ranks and cadres.

 Saluting the martyres and expressing serious concern over the over series of  terrorist activities and incidents rght from Dhangri in  Rajouri-Ponch and  adjoining parts of Reasi, Senior Congress leaders said that several Army, security men including senior officers and were martyred amongst  46 killings in this year only. The Govt. is in deep slumber and only making false claims of normalcy whereas ground situation is grim. Apart from  various terrorists attacks on army and security forces, a blast  also took place  near religious place in Surankote, which is nefarious . They lauded the dedications and sacrifices of our  security forces who are laying down their lives for the nation and safety and security  of  innocents.

The area of Kalakote has become militancy infested and locals had been reporting the presence of terrorists but no concrete flush out operation or strengthening of security network by army posts was done despite demand  by the locals  and  Congress party time and again and even a letter was also sent to the LG in this regard by the Congress party on 18^th Sep. 2023 demanding security pickets in the area.

The party demanded immediate action plan as the entire population in sensitive areas including minorities are fear struck and if proper measures are not taken the people will shift to safer places which is very serious. They also demanded a thorough investigation into the entire episode as to how despite  information such a huge loss of army and nation has taken place. The intelligence network needs to be  strengthened .

Both Centre and UT administration should take immediate steps to curb militancy and install confidence and sence of security in the remote areas, as it is already too late because the govt. did not pay heed  to the protests of locals especially in Kalakote Dhangri area. The militancy free zone has become  again  militancy infested due to failure of the Govt. to take the require steps to defeat the nefarious designs of  Pak sponsored militancy in the border belt.
