Properties of notorious drug peddler worth Rs. 20 lakh seized in Baramulla

BARAMULLA April 04: In a significant crackdown on drug trafficking, police in Baramulla have attached properties belonging to notorious drug peddler Farooq Mir, son of Gh Mohiuddin, resident of Zaspora Tangmarg. The seized properties include 1 Kanal & 10 Marlas of land and a single-story residential house, with an estimated value of approximately Rs. 20 lakh. This action was taken under sections 68-E read with 68-F (1) of the NDPS Act of 1985, in connection with FIR No. 50/19 & 55/23 u/s 8/20,29 NDPS Act of PS Tangmarg, and FIR No. 142/22 u/s 8/20 NDPS Act of PS Kunzer.
