Provision of dental care services reviewed in Doda
DODA, July 19: To take the appraisal of dental care services in the health Institutions and promotion of oral hygiene among the children through school health programs, Chief Medical Officer Doda, Dr. Ab Hamid Zargar today chaired a meeting of the Dental Surgeons.
At the outset, the CMO took review of the block wise performance and Dental care services provided by the Surgeons and discussed the deficiencies with the participants.
The Chief Medical Officer directed the Dental Surgeons to put in extra efforts to promote oral hygiene and treatment among the public. Special emphasis was laid on effective implementation of the school health programme and generation of awareness about oral health and hygiene among students and communities. He asked for focusing on efficient delivery of health services in all health institutions to facilitate the public.
The CMO also enjoined upon all the BMOs to see implementation of all health programmes on the ground and ensure that the benefits reach the end user without any difficulty.
