PSPS Govt PG College organises awareness Lecture on Preparation of Competitive Examinations

JAMMU, DECEMBER 21: Career Counseling and Placement Cell, in Collaboration with Institutional innovation Club and Alumni Association of Padma Shri Padma Sachdev Govt PG College for Women organised an Awareness Talk on preparation of Competitive Exams in the Department of Commerce here today.

The programme started with the formal welcome of the Resource Person, Prof. Mamta Gupta, Dean Commerce and a galaxy of intellectuals and student aspirants.

Rhythm Bhatia, Alumnus of the College apprised students about various career opportunities in the field of Commerce. She also stressed upon gaining skills to become an entrepreneur.

Neha Thapa, another alumnus deliberated upon getting admission in higher Education through exams like CAT,  MAT, GREF etc.

Mohammad Arshad Nomani, Resource Person of the day highlighted the roadmap for the preparation of Civil Services Examinations and motivated the students to aid their studies with time management to achieve the goal.

CA, Anuj Mahajan , the other Resource Person explained   the stepping stones to become  a Chartered Accountant and Entrepreneur.

On behalf of the Principal of the College , Dr. Irvinder Kour appreciated the efforts of the organizing Committee comprising Prof. Rajni Kumari, Convenor Career Counselling and Placement Cell ; Prof. Anupama Sharma, Convenor Institution Innovation Club and other members Prof. Malti, Prof.Neelam, Prof. Rajinder Kumar. She also stressed on the need of conducting awareness programs on Career opportunities on regular intervals.

The Programme concluded with the formal Vote of thanks by Prof.Suman Bala, member Institutional innovation Club.
