PSPS Govt Women College empowers students with free coaching classes for Common University Entrance Test
JAMMU, JUNE 13: The Department of Computer Applications and Career Counselling Cell of Padma Shri Padma Sachdev Government College for Women Gandhinagar, in collaboration with esteemed faculty members, organized a series of free coaching classes to prepare students for the upcoming Common University Entrance Test (CUET) for postgraduate courses in Computer Applications.
The initiative aimed to equip 6th-semester students with the necessary knowledge and skills to excel in their academic pursuits.
A total of 16 students actively participated in the coaching classes, which were conducted from May 25th to June 5th, 2023 under the visionary leadership of Prof. Minu Mahajan, the esteemed principal of the college.
Prof. Rohit Gupta, the Head of the Department of Computer Applications, served as the dedicated resource person, guiding and mentoring the students throughout the coaching program.
The coaching classes were conducted in the state-of-the-art smart classroom of the college, equipped with contemporary audio-visual aids to facilitate effective and engaging learning experiences. Prof. Rohit Gupta leveraged various teaching methodologies to cover essential topics such as computer fundamentals, computer architecture, binary arithmetic, and binary logic. The students benefited immensely from the comprehensive curriculum and interactive sessions, which fostered a deep understanding of the subjects.
The successful execution of these coaching classes was made possible through the collaborative efforts of the Career Counselling Cell and the Department of Computer Applications. The organizing committee, consisting of Prof. Rajni Kumari (Convener), Prof. Rohit Gupta (H.O.D, Computer Applications), and esteemed members Prof. Renu Rajput, Prof. Malti Rajput, Prof. Suman Bala, Prof. Rajinder Kumar, Prof. Neelam Thappa, and Prof. Sugandha Mahajan, worked tirelessly to ensure the smooth functioning of the program.
