PSPS Govt Women College organises interactive session on “Utilization of Library E-Resources”

JAMMU, May 10: The Department of Philosophy, in collaboration with the Department of Library Sciences of Padma Shri Padma Sachdev College for Women today organised an interactive session on the topic “Utilization of Library E-Resources.”

The session was held under the patronage of the College Principal, Prof. Minu Mahajan.

The resource person of the occasion was Prof. Sonika, the Librarian of the College. She introduced to the students the e- platforms subscribed by the college for enhancing the knowledge of the students. The students were also guided about different login and download procedures of the respective e-platforms.

The session turned out to be really beneficial for students, especially for those who are unable to afford books and journals for themselves. They would be able to access over 5400 E-books, E- Journals, E-Papers etc. available on certified portals like N-LIST and DELNET without any monetary burden.

A total of 31 students participated in the session with great enthusiasm. The session was coordinated by Dr Varun Sharma, the Head of Department of Philosophy.
