Public interaction, grievances redressal camps held at 4 locations in Doda under Block Diwas

DODA, February 22: Public Outreach Programme was held today at four places across District Doda to listen to the issues and grievances of the people under the weekly Block Diwas Programme.

The grievances redressal camps were held at village Dharyouth, Sub Division Thathri; Panchayat Darie, Sub Division Gandoh; Village Karmail, Sub Division Assar and Block Headquarter Bhaderwah.

At all the designated locations, the daylong Block Diwas proceedings witnessed huge participation.  

The Public and PRIs put forth a range of issues and demanded augmentation of water supply and electricity, macadamization of roads, meeting dearth of staff in schools and hospitals, up-gradation of schools, banking facilities in rural areas, release of pending wages under MGNREGA etc.

The Presiding officers gave a patient hearing and directed the concerned officers to prepare a list of issues/grievances raised pertaining to their departments and resolve the same at an earliest.
