Public outreach camps held at 4 locations across Doda district
DODA, January 18: Public Interactions/ Outreach Programme were held today at four places across District Doda to listen to the issues and grievances of the people under the aegis of weekly Block Diwas.
The grievances redressal/ Public Outreach camps were held at Choundary, Block Bhalla, Sub District Bhaderwah; Panchayat Batara, Sub Division Gandoh; Baggar, Sub Division Assar; Tehsil Headquarter Bhella, Sub Division Thathri.
The whole programme was held under the supervision of Deputy Commissioner Doda, Vishesh Paul Mahajan.
At all designated locations, the daylong Block Diwas proceedings witnessed huge participation of locals and public representatives. Public and PRIs put forth a range of issues/ demands. They demanded augmentation of water supply and electricity, macadamization of roads, meeting dearth of staff in schools and hospitals, upgradation of schools, banking facilities in rural areas, release of pending wages under MGNREGA etc.
The Presiding officers of the Block Diwas gave patient hearing to the issues and demands and directed the concerned officers to prepare a list of issues/grievances raised pertaining to their departments and resolve the same at an earliest.
