Quality-driven ITI ecosystem needs to be strengthened with increasing demand for skilled workforce in J&K: Manoj Sinha
29 Oct: LG Manoj Sinha addressed the first convocation of ITI graduates, who have cleared All India Trade Test 2023. On the occasion, several new initiatives, portal for ranking of polytechnics, Innovation Portal for Science & Tech and Centralised Academic Monitoring & Improvement System were launched.
LG Manoj Sinha said due to its demographic advantage, J&K has the potential to become the highly skilled human resource capital of the country. In order to convert its potential into reality & create future workforce, the skill ecosystem like ITIs and polytechnics will have to play a crucial role said Manoj Sinha.
We need to revamp and modernise ITIs and transform the training and infrastructure to meet the global standards said Manoj Sinah. A holistic and quality driven ITI ecosystem should be strengthened in line with the increasing demand for skilled workforce in the J&K UT said Manoj Sinha.
