R K Ranvijay Singh visits Raghunathji Temple at Suchetgarh, takes stock of facilities
Trust performs special Pooja on eve of birthday of Late Maharani Yasho Rajya Lakshmi in Raghunath ji Temple
SUCHETGARH, January 9: R.K Ranvijay Singh, Trustee J&K Dharmarth Trust along with Advocate Ajay Gandotra, President and Ashok Kumar Sharma, (SSP Retd) Secretary today visited ancient Raghunathji Temple at Zero Line on the Indo Pak border at Suchetgarh and took stock of the infrastructure and facilities besides holding discussions on improving the facilities to make this temple more comfortable and splendid for the visiting devotees.
During the visit, R.K Ranvijay Singh performed Special Pooja and prayed for peace and prosperity of Jammu and Kashmir Union Territory. He laid stress upon the priests to ensure that every devotee who enters this temple returns with complete knowledge of the history, significance and other details about this temple as it is vital for disseminating information among the masses about the rich cultural heritage of J&K.
Later, the Trustee also interacted with BSF personnel and lauded their efforts in safeguarding the borders. He said the country is always indebted to the indomitable courage and outstanding service of the BSF personnel as their phenomenal virtues show confidence in countrymen while the border guarding force is on duty safeguarding India round the clock.
RK Ranvijay Singh also visited Shiv Temple Satwari and took stock of the temple premises.
Meanwhile, a Special Pooja was performed at Natraj ji Temple located in the premises of Shree Raghunathji Temple Jammu on the eve of birthday of Late Maharani Yasho Rajya Lakshmi.
While paying tributes to the late Maharani, the Trust’s President said that though she has left the world, but she has made a permanent place in the hearts of the people of Jammu and Kashmir. She will be remembered by the people for centuries together who played a vital role during the transformation of the state from feudalism to democracy.
He said that she dedicated her life for the welfare of women folk. She also did a lot in promoting Dogri, Kashmiri and Ladakhi Culture and her noble deeds are the inspiration for the women folk of the Union Territory (erstwhile state) as a whole.
