Rafi Ahmad Mir condemns the murder of 3 persons by a drug addict in Aishmuqam

Expresses sympathy with the kith and kin of murdered, injured

Urges Admin to ensure compensation to the victim families and the best possible treatment for the injured

SRINAGAR, December 23 : Apni Party General Secretary Rafi Ahmad Mir on Friday expressed his deep grief over the horrible incident in south Kashmir’s Aishmuqam, wherein a drug addict, who went on a rampage and murdered three people including a woman and left as many as six persons injured this morning.

Pertinently, all the three murdered identified as Ghulam Nabi Khadim, his mother Hafiza Bagum, and Mohammad Ameen Shah belonged to a single family.  The drug addict, who, according to reports, is also a mentally challenged person, went out of control as he was under the severe influence of drugs.

In his press statement, while condemning the ruthless act of the drug addict, Mir expressed his sympathy to the families who lost their members.

He said, “I am deeply saddened to hear about this horrible incident. My heart goes out to the kith and kin of the murdered persons, the injured ones.” “I condemn this brutal act of a drug addict in the strongest possible terms.” He added.

He urged the administration to ensure immediate relief to the families of the victims and the best possible treatment for the injured.
