Rahul Sahai Chair PHDCCI appealed Baldev Prakash CMD J&K Bank to revaluate decision of imposing Commitment charges to its valuable customers
JAMMU January 07: Rahul Sahai Chair PHD Chamber of Commerce & Industry Jammu Chapter appealed CMD J&K Bank Baldev Prakash, to personally look and revaluate into the matter regarding the decision of J&K Bank for deduction of commitment charges from borrowers account who are using less exposures given to them as because of this decision lot of good and big customers are shifting from J&K Bank to other options and J&K Bank is being trolled for wrong decisions as no other bank is charging these type of charges .
Sahai said that the step taken by J & K Bank has created an immense displeasure and litigation amongst the borrowers. J&K Bank had started deducting charges on un-utilized loan amount of the borrowers which is called as commitment charges and it has caused immense pain among the Industrialists and traders.
Rahul Sahai said that the traders and industrialists treat J & K Bank as its own bank which will work for the benefit of the traders, but on the other hand steps taken by J & K Bank to deduct unnecessary charges in one way or other is absolutely not acceptable by Industrial and trading community across UT of J & K.
Sahai said that J & K Bank should instead take imperative steps for the growth of trade and industry in J& K, otherwise traders will loose their faith in the bank and may look for other options available which is very painful for the staff and customers of J&K Bank too .
