Rahul Sahai Chair PHDCCI Jammu Chapter Met Ms Namrita Dogra, Additional Commissioner, State Taxes, Jammu

JAMMU, June 29: Rahul Sahai, Chair PHDCCI Jammu Chapter along with Samar Dev Charak, Co Chair, PHDCCI Jammu Chapter andAmarpreet Singh, R O Jammu met Namrita Dogra, Additional Commissioner, State Taxes, Jammu in her office.

The purpose of the meeting was to discuss about the forthcoming programme on GST Week.State Taxes Department of Government of J & K is celebrating GST Week from 1st July to 7th July.State Tax  Department had invited PHDCCI Jammu Chapter to be part of the GST Week. Ms Namrita shared the details about the events they have planned for the whole week. On day one 1stJuly 2023, a panel discussion is planned, for which Mr Rahul Sahai is invited as an esteemed panalist.During the meeting Mr Rahul Sahai shared several points related to GST which could be taken up during the panel discussion. He also suggested that trader community is not aware about the GST rules and there is need to create awareness among them. 

Mr Samar Dev Charak said that there is need to train the users of the online system of the department. 

Mr Rahul Sahai said that we should create flyers related to the points that need to be shared with the trading & Industrial community,   like   all   dealers   should   submit   their   own   mobile   number   in   the   online GST portal , details of how to change and update the mobile number in the system and other important points.

Ms Namrita appreciated the suggestions given by Mr Rahul Sahai Chair & Co Chair and said that all steps will be taken  to create awareness and requested support and cooperation of PHDCCI Jammu to make GST  Week successful.
