Rahul Sahai Chairman PHDCCI Jammu Chapter calls on Prediman Krishan Bhat the New Commissioner State Taxes (GST) of J&K
JAMMU: Rahul Sahai chairman PHDCCI Jammu was accompanied by Raj Dua Co Chair PHDCCI Jammu , Kuldeep Gupta , Chetanya Sharma and Pursharth Sharma ,Resident Executive of PHDCCI Jammu Chapter.
Rahul Sahai stressed about the delayed GST Reimbursement issue faced by the existing industries and said SGST Reimbursement is the only prominent incentive for the existing industries , It should be given on time . Sahai flagged issue faced by the auto dealers and requested for opening a onetime window for sending E – Invoices to invoice registration portal (IRO) for generation of Invoices registration number (IRP) and submitted representation regarding the subject .Sahai also suggested that a advisory committee of prominent organizations should be made so that the working relationship of the industries and the GST Department becomes smoother .
Sahai also flagged the issue of GSTR-1 not going timely and said lot of members are facing technical errors these days regarding this and said it should be resolved at the earliest
PK Bhat Commissioner State Taxes J&K listened to the delegation of PHDCCI Jammu patiently and said that these all are very relevant issues and will try to resolve them at the earliest , specially he stressed that Reimbursement of SGST should come on time , he said it’s the matter of funds not available with treasuries but still he will write to Govt to release those at the earliest , Bhat said that regarding GSTR-1 technical glitches its all india issue and is in the knowledge of all the concerned authorities , they are trying to solve it in a day or two and if not resolved it will be given due consideration regarding last date etc.
PK Bhat said PHDCCI should tell all the dealers to avail benefit of the amnesty scheme given by the govt he said it’s the last chance and dealers should take maximum benefit out of it , Bhat said we are going to reduce inspections for industry reimbursements to 1 from 4 in near future and also are working on other beneficial schemes for dealers too , Bhat said we are here to facilitate dealers and not to harass them and we believe in collecting tax with data not with inspections , he said that our doors are open for all for any kind of problems faced
Bhat also said Sh Atal Duloo worthy Chief Secretary is very keen on the holistic Development of the state at all levels and is taking steps in this directions and he is very keen to boost up micro Industry and Tourism of the UT.
