Railway heeds Dr Jitendra Singh’s call: Jammu Mail Train grants respite with Chhan Rorian halt

The decision comes in light of the road traffic disruption caused by a damaged bridge on Tarnah Nallah along NH-4 in the Kathua district of Jammu and Kashmir.
The damaged bridge had severely impacted daily life and economic activities, prompting Dr. Jitendra Singh to appeal to Railway Minister Shri Ashwini Vaishnaw for a temporary train stoppage. The government swiftly acted within three hours, issuing orders to facilitate the request.
Expressing gratitude for the prompt action, Dr Jitendra Singh praised the government’s sensitivity in addressing people’s concerns. The decision reflects the government’s commitment to citizens’ welfare, bolstered by Railway Minister Shri Ashwini Vaishnaw’s cooperation in facilitating the train stoppage.
