ANANTNAG, APRIL 18: A day-long training-cum-orientation program under Mission YUVA was today held for YUVA DOOTs at Dak Bunglow Khanabal, Anantnag,

The training aimed at enhancing the capacity and effectiveness of YUVA DOOTs in promoting entrepreneurship and self-employment at the grassroots level.
The event was presided over by the Additional Deputy Commissioner (ADC) Anantnag, Sandeep Singh Bali.
In his address, Bali emphasized the importance of youth empowerment and their role in driving sustainable development through entrepreneurship.
He motivated the DOOTs to become catalysts of change, and assured them of comprehensive administrative support in tackling any field-level challenges and stressed the importance of community engagement in fostering a vibrant entrepreneurial ecosystem.
Assistant Director (AD) Employment Anantnag encouraged the YUVA DOOTs to work with zeal and dedication in achieving their outreach and support targets under the mission.
Resource persons from various departments including the Nodal Officer, JKEDI, Lead District Manager (LDM) Anantnag, Employment Officer DE&CC Anantnag, and Career Counselling Officer DE&CC Anantnag, delivered sector-specific presentations. They also demonstrated the features and usage of the Mission YUVA app/portal, equipping the participants with practical know-how.
The interactive sessions facilitated meaningful dialogue, enabling participants to seek clarifications and share insights.
