Rajasthan: 2 injured after brawl breaks out between two groups in Pratapgarh
Pratapgarh (Rajasthan) [India], August 18 (ANI): A man was critically injured after sustaining a gunshot wound while another individual received head injuries during a brawl between two groups at the Ghotarsi Village of Pratapgarh district, said the police on Sunday.
Deputy Superintendent of Police Herambh Joshi spoke about the incident and said, “Two youths who had come to attend a social program in Ghotarsi Village had a dispute over an old rivalry. The individuals were identified as Ali Hussain and Saddam.”
“During the brawl, three shots were fired from Saddam’s group after which one of the bullets hit Ali Hussain’s leg. He was seriously injured and after first aid, he was referred to Udaipur,” said the official.
The official further said that Saddam of the other party suffered serious injuries on his head after he was attacked in the brawl with a stick by the other group.
The police have registered a case in this regard and started an investigation into the matter.
