Rajnath Singh to address ‘security conclave’ at Jammu on June 26: Raina

JAMMU June 15: Defence Minister of India, Rajnath Singh, will address a ‘security conclave’ at Jammu on June 26, which will be of non-political nature. This was shared by Jammu and Kashmir BJP President Ravinder Raina, while chairing a meeting convened in this regard at party headquarters.

Ravinder Raina, in the meeting, discussed the preparations for the “Security Conclave” with the party leaders associated with the print, electronic and social media departments and those retired from Army at senior positions.. This ‘Security Conclave ‘, totally a non-political event, will have a large gathering of defence experts, retired senior army officers, intellectuals, writers, media persons and think tanks from different parts of the Union Territory, said Ravinder Raina, adding that activists of the party will be involved in making arrangements for the smooth conduct of the conclave.

Raina said that, in this event, the Union Minister will discuss the security and other important issues with the participants and also share the strong positioning of India in Defence and other matters concerning nation’s security and safety of the citizens residing along the borders.

Raina also stressed upon the party to highlight the visit of the Defence Minister so that more and more people are aware of it and come to attend the event.

J&K BJP Vice-President Sham Lal Sharma, Ex-Servicemen Cell Convenor Col. (Retd.) Gurbaksh Singh, spokesperson Abhijeet Jasrotia, BJYM President Arun Dev and Media Incharge Dr. Pardeep Mahotra attended this meeting.
