Rajni Bala kick-starts blacktopping work of road at Mohallah Dhok in Jammu North Assembly segment 

Assures to leave no stone unturned in transforming Ward No 60 to a model ward 

JAMMU, March 23: Corporator Rajni Bala today kick-started black topping of lanes at Mohallah Dhok, Ward No 60 near Lower Roop Nagar falling in Jammu North Assembly segment. The aforesaid work was started with an estimated cost of Rs 35 lakhs through the executing agency Jammu Municipal Corporation.

Addressing the gathering, Rajni Bala said it was a long pending demand of the people of the area which was fulfilled today. She said that being the people’s representative it is her bounden duty to ensure that projects facilitating the life of the people of the Ward are executed whenever needed. She assured the people that she would leave no stone unturned in transforming Ward No: 60, making it a model ward. She assured that every possible initiative which could help in making their lives comfortable will be taken up on priority so that the basic demands of the public could be met.

The Councillor has also asked the executing agency to complete the same work on a fast track basis so that the people may not face any inconvenience. She also laid stress upon the officials to maintain quality of work in the area.

Later, the senior Congress leader also interacted with people of the area and listened to their issues which included irregular water supply and upgradation of lanes and drains in their area. She gave a patient hearing to their grievances and assured to get all these addressed by approaching the concerned authorities at the earliest.

Rajni Bala asserted that Congress being a more than 70 years old party and committed to address people’s issues on priority especially those pertaining to basic amenities is the only solution to get rid of the miseries surmounting them.
