Rajouri Administration retrieves 275867 kanal, 12 marlas state land
RAJOURI, JANUARY 29: As the part of its efforts to retrieve state Land from the illegal occupants, the District Administration Rajouri has launched a massive anti-encroachment drive in all Tehsils of the district and retrieved over 275867 Kanal and 12 Marlas of land so far.
As per the eviction plan and on the directions of the Deputy Commissioner Rajouri, regular Anti-Encroachment drives are being conducted in the district to retrieve the state land.
The teams of police and revenue officers/officials visited different tehsils of the district including Rajouri, Darhal, Thanamandi, Nowshera, Qila Darhal, Sunderbani, Siot, Kalakote, Terayth, Beripatan, Manjakote, Moughla and Khawas and retrieved 275867 Kanals and 12 Marlas of state land.
The state land retrieved from the illegal occupants included 7546 Kanals and 05 marlas of kacharai land and 268321 Kanals and 07 marlas of state land, including Roshni Land.
Tehsildar Teryath recovered 4 kanal prime state land in Village Keri; Tehsildar Kalakote and his team retrieved 62 kanal state land in Village Kural, while 93 kanal land was recovered in Village Mangal Dei of Nowshera Tehsil today. The reclaiming state land reflects the dedication and hard work of the Tehsildars and their teams.
Deputy Commissioner, Vikas Kundal said anti-encroachment drives will continue in all the parts of the district till the entire encroached land was retrieved.
