Rajouri comes together to witness Historic Chandrayaan-3 Moon Landing

RAJOURI, August 23: In an extraordinary display of communal excitement and craving for technological achievements, the residents of District Rajouri came together to watch the live streaming of the historic Chandrayaan-3 Moon landing on the lunar South Pole.

The live streaming of the historical event was organised across different locations, including Panchayat Ghars, schools, parks and homes, fostering a strong sense of unity and curiosity within the district.

Leading the charge in this collective experience was Vikas Kundal, Deputy Commissioner. Taking the helm, he positioned himself at the forefront by personally leading the live watching session from the lush lawns of the DC Office Complex, Rajouri. His presence underscored the district’s keen interest in scientific achievements and its commitment to fostering a culture of exploration and innovation.

Accompanying Mr. Kundal were several officers, including ADC Rajiv Khajuria, ACR Imran Kataria, DYSP Headquarters Mudassir Choudary, DPO Auqil Nuvaid, DSWO Wakeel Ahmed Bhatt, XEN PWD Sardar Khan, and other prominent citizens of the area.
