RAM NAVMI CELEBRATIONS: Secy Dharmarth Trust distributes Special Prasad among devotees at Raghunath ji Mandir
JAMMU March 23: A day after celebration of Ram Navmi at historic Shri Raghunathji Temple in the heart of Jammu City, Ashok Kumar Secretary Dharmarth Trust today distributed special Prasad among the devotees.
The Secretary said that the people should take part in festivals and special religious occasions along with their children to ensure that the next generation remains connected with the roots of the rich culture which J&K possessed as there is a mounting pressure of western world to alienate people from their culture and native lands. He said that Dharmarth Trust has been accomplishing herculean task in preserving the culture of the land and therefore the people of the region also owe responsibility to remain connected with the Trust’s activities to ensure that rich traditions and culture of the land remains intact till eternity.
Later, the Secretary DT extended gratitude to the staff of the Dharmarth Trust and representatives of various market associations from where the Shobha Yatra passed, for making elaborate arrangements and providing refreshments to the participants. He also thanked administration for the ensuring adequate facilities including precisely perfect security arrangements. He said, “With such supportive administration and the cooperation by the markets in the vicinity, Dharmarth Trust can organize many more glittering programmes in the coming times”.
