Ramban Police traced out kidnapped girl

RAMBAN, 1 August 2023: On 27 July 2023, an application was received at PS Gool from Jamal Din, resident of Gundi, tehsil Gool, district Ramban regarding the kidnapping of his daughter Shazia Bano by some unknown person(s).

On receipt of this information, FIR no 89/2023 u/s 363 IPC was registered at PS Gool and a special police team was constituted to trace out the kidnapped girl. The search of the kidnapped girl was carried out at different places, with the help of technical assistance, the kidnapped girl was finally traced out from Marar, tehsil Batala, district Gurdaspur Punjab and reunited with the family.

The girl was traced by a police team headed by SI Mohd Ashiq Bhat, under the guidance of Inspector Nazir Ahmed, SHO PS Gool and under the supervision of DySP Nihar Ranjan, SDPO Gool with the overall supervision of SP Ramban, Mohita Sharma, IPS.
