Ramban: Training programmes on tailoring, mushroom cultivation by RSETI conclude
RAMBAN, March 17: The training programmes for mushroom cultivation and tailoring under Entrepreneurship Development Programme organised by State Bank of India Rural Self Employment Training Institute (RSETI) Ramban concluded today.
During the training programme trainees learnt different skills including commercial mushroom cultivation, harvesting and preparation of value added products such as pickle, powder and papad. They also learnt cultivation of button mushroom, oyster and milky mushroom.
Similarly, in women’s tailoring course, trainees were taught various aspects of the trade.
Branch Head Jammu & Kashmir Bank Ramban Mujeeb-Ur-Rehman was chief guest at valedictory function with Assistant Manager J&K Bank Maitra, Junaid Ali as guest of honour. They gave certificates to pass out candidates and interacted with trainees making them aware about different government schemes of Banks for Self Employment.
Director of Rural Self Employment Training Institute Ramban Bikramjit Singh interacted with trainees and advised them about benefits of various self employment schemes of the Government. At the end of the program Senior Faculty Amrik Singh Raju concluded with a vote of thanks.
