Rants of Mehbooba Mufti

JAMMU July 04 : YV Sharma Spokesperson  BJP Jk UT reacted very strongly to Mehbooba Mufti’s rant appearing in the press. In his press statement  today, disclosing the real nature and the nefarious acts of Mehbooba  Mr Sharma said that recently Mehbooba Mufti criticised the BJP Govt at the centre for using ED & other agencies for break up of the NCP party headed by Sharad Pawar. By saying this she is not only belittling the political wisdom of the leaders like Ajit Pawar, but also forgetting that Ajit Pawar was left with no choice after Sharad Pawar announced the name of Supriya Sule, his daughter as the head of the NCP. Thus, essentially it was a breakup in a family run political party where the head of the party was more inclined towards giving the charge of the party to his own daughter rather the politically matured Ajit Pawar.

In fact Mehbooba Mufti cannot be naïve to such incidents in family run political parties especially as she also comes from a similar background. Thus blaming ED, CBI & similar other agencies is no use as they act on specific inputs. It’s a different matter that BJP government is ensuring that there is fear of the law in the minds of the wrongdoers & they are taken to task for their economic & financial indiscretions.

And then look who is speaking? A person with double face!!

Mehbooba Mufti wrecked the coalition Govt with Congress party in 2008 ostensibly for allotment of a few acres of land in Baltal, Sonamarg, Kashmir for constructing temporary resting places & bathrooms for the pilgrims to Amar Nath cave shrine. Mehbooba Mufti took this decision while the CM, Mufti Syed was on a foreign trip. However, the real reason for withdrawing the support was her rivalry with Ghulam Nabi Azad, whom she never wanted to hand over the reigns of power after completion of 3 years of CMship of Mufti Syed of the erstwhile state of J&K as per the agreement between the two parties.

The same duplicitous Mehbooba Mufti, was seen pouring water over Shiva Lingam in Poonch recently, while in 1986 it was the hooligans affiliated to her late father who torched Shiva Temples in Anantnag, Wanpoh & Kulgam area & burnt the properties of the minority Kashmiri Hindu community. This was the first communal riot in the Kashmir valley that was spearheaded by the Mufti family & which was to become precursor to the unfortunate events that followed in 1989/90. The disturbances were caused by the Mufti family to put pressure on the Congress party so that they would make Mufti Syed the Chief Minister of J&K after dismissal of GM Shah Govt. They never minded the mayhem as long as their nefarious political objectives were met.

There are reasons to believe that the kidnapping of Mehbooba Mufti’s sister Rubiya Syed was also orchestrated by the Mufti family themselves that resulted in release of hardcore terrorists in 1989 while Mufti Syed was the Home Minister of India under VP Singh Govt.

And finally, the Rasana case of the unfortunate killing of a young Gujar girl in Kathua. The case is going through the legal process & I wouldn’t like to say much except that a book by Madhu Purnima Kishtwar, The Girl from Kathua, has hit the book stores, which is an eye opener & speaks of complicity of the Mehbooba government in ensuring that justice is not done in the case & in fact it’s ensured that the innocent are entangled & put behind the bars. In my opinion the Hon’ble Courts of the country should take suo-moto notice of the book & bring the culprits & instigators of the heinous crime to book, be they politicians or any other influential people.

Thus the people of J&K must understand the duplicity of the people like Mehbooba Mufti & far reaching implications of their policies in destabilising India & stand by Narendra Modi Government for prosperity of the Indian nation. The effort of Narendra Modi Government is “sabka sath, sabka vikas, sabka Vishwas & sabka prayas; while as that of the opposition parties is “parivar bachaao, Modi hatao”. And the opposition parties, in their campaign, striving to save the “parivar” of the Laloo Yadav’s, Akhilesh Yadav’s, Hudda’s, Stalin’s, Gandhi’s, Sharad Pawar’s, Abdullah’s, Mufti’s & the like. People of J&K & the country need to be careful about the family run political parties.
