RDD Udhampur organises Day long training programme cum workshop for staff

UDHAMPUR, February 17: A day long training programme cum workshop was today organised by the Rural Development Department for officers and field functionaries regarding GIS mapping of MGNREGA works.

The training programme was held under the chairmanship of Assistant Commissioner Development, Dr Ranjeet Kotwal here in the Conference Hall of DC Office Complex.

Directions were issued to the officers of Rural Development Department to mobilize their field functionaries and speed up the pace of works so as to provide benefits to the rural populace as per the guidelines of the scheme. He instructed the field functionaries to ensure that they remain present in the area of their posting and are accessible to the public.

The ACD exhorted upon the field functionaries to maintain the transparency and accountability in all the works being executed in the RDD sector in the District. The ACD impressed upon the officers and field functionaries to work with zeal and dedication to achieve the set targets during the current financial year.
