Readiness to organize 15 days Service Delivery & Grievance Redressal Camps reviewed at Anantnag
Demonstration of revenue e-Services, Aapki Zameen Aapki Nigrani to be held during the camps
ANANTNAG, FEBRUARY 11: The Additional Deputy Commissioner (ADC) Anantnag, Dr SM Ashraf today reviewed the preparedness for organizing 15 day Service delivery and Grievance Redressal camps in all the Patwar Halqas of the district.
The camps will be held from 13th to 28th of February.
On the directions of Deputy Commissioner Anantnag, ADC directed SDMs to ensure their presence in the camps and it has been made mandatory for the Tehsildars to attend the camps on each of the 15 days at a patwar halqa.
The presence of senior officials will ensure that grievances are redressed on the spot as well as enable monitoring of the progress achieved by the concerned subordinates.
Among the main targets of the service delivery camps, the revenue officials have been directed to ensure that all pending inheritance mutations are completed in the 15 day period. Mutations of departmental assets shall also be taken up during the camps.
There will be special focus on scrutiny and finalisation of Forest Rights Acts cases to ensure that rights viz community and individual are accorded to genuine beneficiaries in a transparent and hassle free manner.
The ADC said that during these camps, any pending grievances shall also be taken up and resolved. He said that review of resolution of grievances received during Block Diwas will also be done. The functionaries have been directed to publicize the location among the locals and ensure target achievement.
The participation of Computer Service Centers has also been recommended in order to demonstrate the benefits of flagship programmes like Aapki Zameen Aapki Nigraani, distribution of land passbooks among beneficiaries and to inform the public about the various e-services of revenue department through which the people can apply for generation of fards, income certificate, legal heir certificates, etc online without having to physically visit tehsil offices.
