Reasi Administration retrieves 1498 Kanal state Land in one day

REASI, JANUARY 30: In compliance with the directions of the Government, District Administration Reasi has charted out a detailed schedule for eviction of encroachers from the State Land. State land measuring 144613 Kanal and 13 Marlas have been evicted till date.

To focus on restoration of prime state land, Deputy Commissioner Babila Rakwal has directed Tehsildars to conduct anti-encroachment drives and retrieve the valuable encroached land/big chunks and install a board of state land thereon.

Acting swiftly on the directions, Tehsildars have identified prime land and big chunks in their respective jurisdiction.

In continuation of the drive, Tehsildar Pouni today retrieved 13 kanal and 7 marlas prime land at villages Bealuian and Ransoo, Tehsildar Reasi retrieved 96 Kanal, Tehsildar Thakrakote 338 Kanals 18 marlas, Tehsildar Thuroo 1050 Kanals worth crores of rupees.
