Reasi Police apprehends notorious drug peddler

District Police Reasi apprehended notorious drug peddler under Operation Jeevandan to intensified its efforts to curb illegal drug activities.

During a surprise Naka at Reasi Arnas Road, a team of Police Station Reasi spotted a suspicious individual near SIDCO Gate, Gran Morh Katal.

Upon seeing the police, the individual attempted to flee from the spot but alert jawan swiftly swung into action and apprehended him.

The suspect was identified as Sunil S/O Kartar R/O Katal Gran Morh, during his search 2.21 grams of a heroin-like substance was found from his possession. An FIR has been registered under relevant sections of NDPS Act and further investigation is going on.
