Reasi police arrest man with heroin near Katra Railway Station
In a major push against drug trafficking, the Reasi Police on February 11th apprehended a man and seized approximately 8.2 grams of suspected heroin near the Katra railway station.
The accused, identified as Sudharshan Singh, was found acting suspiciously during a routine foot patrol conducted by the Katra police station. Upon frisking his bag, officers discovered the heroin-like substance.

Senior Superintendent of Police Reasi, Mohita Sharma, commended the efforts of the Katra Police and reiterated their commitment to tackling drug abuse and illicit liquor in the district.
“Reasi Police is working on a multi-pronged strategy to deal with the problem of drug abuse, Illicit Liquor and will leave no stone unturned to curb this menace from the society,” Sharma said.
