Reasi police seize 2 vehicles in crackdown on illegal mining

Reasi Police have taken a strong stance against illegal mining, seizing two vehicles found transporting illegally obtained materials.

In a routine inspection, police teams stopped a Tipper (JK11D-4375) at Ransoo and a tractor-trolley (JK14H-6820) near Shajroo. Both vehicles were found to be carrying materials obtained through illegal mining activities.

The vehicles were seized, and the Mining Officer was informed to take appropriate legal action.

SSP Reasi affirmed the commitment of the Reasi Police to safeguarding public property and eliminating the threat of illegal mining in the area.
