Blood Donation Camps Organized by Jammu and Kashmir Pradesh Youth Congress
October 31: Jammu and Kashmir – On this solemn occasion marking the anniversary of the passing of the iconic former Prime Minister of India, Smt. Indira Gandhi, the Jammu and Kashmir Pradesh Youth Congress, under the dedicated leadership of Mr. Aakash Bharat, President of Youth Congress Jammu and Kashmir, came together to pay tribute and contribute to the welfare of the community.
In honor of the indomitable spirit and remarkable achievements of Smt. Indira Gandhi, the Jammu and Kashmir Pradesh Youth Congress organized a blood donation camp at every district level. This initiative witnessed an overwhelming response from the youth across various districts, who eagerly participated in this noble cause. Today, an impressive total of 185 units of blood was generously donated, emphasizing the commitment of the youth to the welfare of society.
President Mr. Aakash Bharat, while addressing the attendees, reflected on the legacy of Smt. Indira Gandhi. He remarked, “Indira Gandhi was the Iron Lady of India, a leader who made significant contributions to the progress and unity of our nation. Her strong leadership and unwavering resolve were instrumental in shaping our country’s history. It was under her resolute decision-making that Pakistan was divided in 1971, bringing an end to an era of hostility. Smt. Indira Gandhi’s ideals and policies continue to inspire us, and we are committed to upholding her vision for the well-being of our society.”
