Repair work on NH-44 in Dhalwas prompts ‘Traffic Dry Day’; LMVs/HMVs prohibited for 24 hours

In an effort to ensure the safety and efficiency of travel on National Highway 44, authorities have declared a “Traffic Dry Day” on Sunday, allowing essential repair work to be carried out at the crucial Dhalwas stretch in Ramban.

The operation, set to last a full 24 hours, will restrict the movement of all Light Motor Vehicles (LMV) and Heavy Motor Vehicles (HMV) from midnight on October 21/22 until midnight on October 22/23.

The announcement was made via a tweet from the Deputy Commissioner of Ramban, signaling the significance of the repair work on NH-44.

This decision is aimed at minimizing any potential inconvenience to commuters and ensuring that the repair work is completed promptly and effectively.
