Restoration, renovation of Rani Samadhi’s and Sri Ranbireshwar Temple, underway on fast-track in Jammu

JAMMU, December 6: The restoration and renovation of the historic Sri Ranbireshwar Temple and Rani Samadhi’s complex in Jammu city are underway expeditiously by the Jammu and Kashmir Dharmarth Trust (JKDT). Both these sites are expected to witness a major facelift after the completion of restoration and beautification works.

In a statement issued today, Ashok Sharma, Secretary of JKDT informed that Rk. Martand Singh and Rk. Ranvijay Singh, Trustees of the JKDT, regularly visit the sites to oversee the progress firsthand. They have directed for completing the ongoing works in a time-bound manner and emphasized on the good quality of works.

“The restoration and renovation works are in full swing at Shri Ranbireshwar Temple, Jammu. We are confident that the temple will be fully open for the devotees very soon. The Rani Samadhi complex is also undergoing extensive repair and restoration and will be completed on an urgent basis. The Trustees, Rk. Martand Singh and Rk. Ranvijay Singhare personally overseeing the progress of works.” he added.

The Secretary informed that at the Rani Samadhi complex, each samadhi of the Royal Dogra Maharanis and Ranis and the adjoining Temple are being repaired, meticulously restoring their grandeur and architectural beauty. The Trustees, Rk. Martand Singh and Rk. Ranvijay Singh are personally overseeing the progress of works which are expected to be completed within two months’ time, he added.
