Restrictions imposed ahead of Lok Sabha elections in Budgam district

In anticipation of the upcoming Lok Sabha elections, the District Magistrate of Budgam, Akshay Labroo, has issued a series of restrictions aimed at maintaining order and ensuring fair polling within the jurisdiction of the district.

The restrictions, effective from 11th May 2024, 6 pm until the close of polls for the 2-Srinagar Parliamentary Constituency, encompass various measures outlined under Sections 126 and 130 of the Representation of the People Act, 1951, along with guidelines issued by the Election Commission of India.
