RICM organizes one-day Training Programme for Management of Cooperative Societies at Anantnag
ANANTNAG, NOVEMBER 03: Cooperative department Anantnag under the aegis of Regional Institute of Cooperative Management (RICM) Chandigarh today organized a one day training programme for the Board of Directors, members of the PACS/Dairy Cooperative Societies at Super Bazaar Complex, here.
Speaking on the occasion, the Director RICM Chandigarh gave a detailed overview of the initiatives being taken by the Ministry of Cooperation, Govt. of India for realizing the vision of Hon’ble Prime Minister of India ‘Sahakar se Samridhhi’.
He told the gathering that adoption of Model Bye Laws, updation of data of Cooperative Societies on National Cooperative Database portal, operationalization of Prime Minister’s Jan-aushaddhi Kendras (PMJAK), Common Service Centres (CSC), Prime Minister’s Kissan Samruddhi Kendras (PMKSK), Computerization of PACS, Petrol/ Diesel Retail outlets, LPG Distributorship and operation and maintenance of Piped water supply scheme in selected Panchayats by PACS will help in generating income avenues and making PACS as economic vibrant entities.
He further stressed the participants for disseminating the information of initiatives among the members at grassroots level for reaping the benefits through PACS.
Deputy Registrar Cooperative Societies, Muzaffar Ahmad Beigh also spoke on the occasion and thanked Director RICM for his valuable suggestions for making a vibrant Cooperative Movement in the District.
The programme was attended by Director RICM, Chandigarh; Deputy Registrar Cooperative Societies Anantnag, Assistant Registrar Hq to Additional Registrar Cooperative Societies, Kashmir, Faculty Member RICM, field functionaries of Cooperative Department and Board of Directors/Members of PACS/Dairy Societies.
