Road Safety Campaign: Helmet distributed among Bikers in Doda

DODA, JANUARY 24: In line with the ongoing celebration of the National Road Safety Month, a program aimed at promoting road safety and reducing accidents unfolded at the Clock Tower in Doda. The Motor Vehicle Department (MVD), as part of this initiative, took the lead in distributing helmets among local bikers to emphasize the importance of safe driving practices and the use of protective gear.

Deputy Commissioner Doda, Harvinder Singh, and SSP Doda, Abdul Qayoom, graced the occasion as chief guests, distributing helmets among the bikers. The event, organized under the supervision of ARTO Doda, Rajesh Gupta, and MVD officials, aimed to create awareness about the crucial role helmets play in ensuring the safety of two-wheeler riders.

DC Doda and SSP Doda highlighted the significance of wearing helmets while riding and urged the public to adhere to traffic rules for their safety and the safety of others. ARTO Doda, Rajesh Gupta, reiterated the goals of the safety month, encouraging commuters to follow road safety norms, adhere to traffic signals, and promote responsible behavior on the roads.
