RSETI Ramban hosts entrepreneurship awareness program in Gool
RAMBAN, AUGUST 02: Rural Self Employment Training Institute (RSETI) Ramban of State Bank of India organised Entrepreneurship Awareness Program at Gool, Ramban.
Director Harvinder Singh, an advocate for women’s empowerment and a seasoned professional in entrepreneurial training, delivered an insightful session on the benefits of starting a Costume Jewellery business.
In his address, the Director highlighted the industry’s growth prospects, creative opportunities and the financial independence it can provide.
He said that Costume jewellery offers a unique blend of creativity and business potential. It is an ideal venture for aspiring women entrepreneurs, providing a low-risk, high-reward pathway to financial independence.
The program included comprehensive sessions on various aspects of the costume jewelry business, such as market research, design trends, sourcing materials, pricing strategies and effective marketing techniques. Participants also engaged in hands-on workshops, gaining practical experience in jewellery making and design.
One of the participants, Mumtaz Begum, shared her experience about the vast opportunities in the costume jewellery market and feel empowered to start my own business.
The program aims to inspire and support women in their entrepreneurial journeys, providing them with the tools and confidence needed to succeed.
With 35 registered candidates, the event marked a significant step towards building a vibrant community of women entrepreneurs in the region.
Director RSETI Ramban also educated about Pradhan Mantri Suraksha Bima Yojana(PMSBY), Pradhan Mantri Jeevan Jyoti Bima Yojana (PMJJBY), Atal Pension Yojana (APY) & Tarun, Kishor, and Shishu Mudra Loan, schemes he wished them the best of luck for future endeavor.
